The asymmetric classroom cat-and-mouse game that topped Steam Next Fest is almost here. Everything confirmed so far — release date, demo, player count, maps, and full PC requirements — on one page.
The date is confirmed on the official Steam store page. The free demo has been playable since October's Steam Next Fest, where it became the event's most-played demo — beating out big names like ArcheAge Chronicles and Frostrail.
You don't have to wait for launch. A free demo is downloadable directly from the game's Steam page. It lets you try both sides of the classroom showdown:
Demo activity is still climbing — concurrent players rose 136% in the 24 hours before this update.
Worst Class Ever is a 1–6 player online asymmetric party game by Funcore Games, published by Funcore Games and 2P Games. Five players play naughty students hiding among NPC students; one player is the strict teacher hunting them down. Think prop-hunt tension meets school-day nostalgia, with physics-driven comedy.
Students deploy smoke bombs, stun guns and drones to create chaos and cover escapes. The teacher counters with cameras, radar devices and chalk throws to pinpoint and unmask offenders. Full release upgrades include up to 8 players per match, improved server performance, and LAN multiplayer.
Full interface, audio and subtitle support for English, Simplified & Traditional Chinese, French, German, Japanese and Korean.

Yes, the demo is completely free on Steam. Over 600,000 players have already tried it.
The game supports 1–6 players online. Matches are built around the student-vs-teacher dynamic, so you'll be matched with other players; solo you'd play as part of a larger lobby.
The launch price hasn't been announced. Wishlist the game on Steam to get a notification, or check back here — we'll update this page immediately.
LAN multiplayer is confirmed for the full release. Crossplay is moot for now since the game is PC-only.
